The Lake Superior Pointing Dog Club is dedicated to the development of both you and your dog in the field as well as in the home environment. We hold several major field events each year and schedule regular training and group fun events throughout the year. We are based out of the Twin Ports of Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin and welcome anyone interested in our club to attend any of our regular meetings or the events listed on our calendar. Someone will always be willing to answer your questions |

Mission Statement
The Lake Superior Pointing Dog Club is an organization for people interested in exploring opportunities for enjoying bird dogs. We encourage members to develop their dog’s natural hunting abilities by training with us. Club sponsored educational programs and events aim to help pointing dog owners learn to bring out the best in their dogs for both field and home. We also recognize that testing and training events offered through national associations are useful tools both as measures of individual training progress and as an aid for selective breeding. Our Club activities are intended to increase the knowledge and enjoyment that pointing dog owners derive from their dogs in the field, to assist owners in the development and appreciation of pointing dogs of any breed, and to educate owners so that the number of unwanted and uncared for dogs resulting from non-selective breeding becomes significantly less.
